Salamander Bay Family Holiday :)

9 months 3 weeks old.
Well little man. It was our first official family holiday where it was just he three of us. We went to Melbourne but this was all us :-) We so needed some R&R and that's what we got. The weather was rainy on and off and the resort we stayed at meant we really didn't need to leave if we didn't want to. The Salamander Bay Mall was a 10 min walk from where we were staying so everything we needed was right there. :-) We got caught in a very quick hail storm while we were walking home one time. We haven't seen hail in forever and all of a sudden we had to RUN! You just laughed and giggled at us since you were in your pram and protected. Dad and I looked at each other and just laughed because it was so random.

We had something separating us in our big bed in the morning.

This "stinky" bum was in my face when I woke up. Daddy had brought you in with us. Those thighs I didn't mind because they are the cutest thighs EVER!!!

We went on lots of walks.

Oh you two. Always up to something!

This was the sky right after the hail storm. Blue and Bad right next to each other.

Soaking up some sun while you slept. Perfect setup. Our room backed onto this little outdoor area that through that gate we could jump in pool but still hear you through the monitor :-)

Your dad is such a stud muffin!

This panda shirt your dad wore when he was a little man like you! :-)

There is something so cute about looking back and seeing your little legs while you sleep in the car :-)

The pool was soooo cold but you LOVED it!!!

One of your many ways you sleep

We went on a bush walk up Tomaree National Park it was so gorgeous!!

 Your such a boy!

 You are soooo cheeky!!

No greater place in the world than when we are all together.

9 - 10 months - Crawling, Fathers Day and Standing Up

Well this month little man you went from rolling everywhere to commando crawling once then stopping again deciding you could still get everywhere quicker by rolling and turning. YAY. You had dad and I all excited that we were both home to see you do it for the first time then nothing :-P

I cant believe you were outside of the womb longer than i was pregnant this month. Puts time into perspective for sure! We are also in the process of brainstorming for your first birthday because the way the first 9 months have gone I think if we blink you will be ONE before we know it!

Here are some highlights from the month that was 9-10 months :)

Fun times at Umina Beach playing with mum and dad and going for a walk together. You are also very interested in our glass this month. All you want to do is drink from our drink. Luckily we live off lemon in water because it doesnt matter if you do :-) You like putting your hand in the water and splashing around which made us think again about trying you in the bath and not the shower anymore. You like to blow raspberries on the glass and think the water splashing around is just hilarious.

You are just growing too quick

We went with some of the Young Adults down to Avoca Beach for a beach day. We took your beach tent down and you got to dip in the water with Dad. Thank goodness dad doesn't mind the cold sometimes because it was too cold for mummy to get in. We love that you love the water :-) Aunty Bree likes to cover you in sand and then that results in me being covered in sand.

Nanna was making you a jumper for our Melbourne trip and was a bit late finishing it but you got it on your 9th month birthday :-) How handsome do you look in it!!!! She worked sooo hard on it. Her first real jumper and project! Such a special present for you! :-)

We got to facetime together even though i was literally on the couch next to you. You were laughing so much seeing me on the screen then you would look up and see me right there.

You were supposed to be sleeping but you kept peeking out from daddy's arms to see if I saw that you were awake..

On one of our family walks :-) Enjoying the sunshine.

Silas and you came on an outing with Aunty Hannah and Me to Erina. Everyone kept asking me if you guys were twins and looks so puzzled when i said that you were three months apart and different parents. :-P I'm pretty sure even though you are younger by three months you are already bigger than your lil man Silas.

Uncle Dot came over for your first sleepover in your room this month. He was going to Perth to see if he could find some work over there with the thought of moving so he wanted to come and have a sleepover. I set up a little bed for him on your floor and it was so cute knowing how much fun you boys are going to get up to as you get older. When i woke up in the morning i found the two of you on the floor snuggling.

Yep you loved the bath now your a bit older.

It was Fathers Day this month and we got to celebrate your daddys first fathers day :-) We went to church and then we met Nanna and Boofy down at Terrigal and had a kebab. It was pretty cold the water and you were a bit unsure about the waves. You are such a blessed little man having the daddy you do he just adores you and is the bestest daddy ever.

Seagull became your nickname after today. I think you are a fan of a chip.

Oh these two men are going to be two of your greatest fans of all time!!!

Aunty Bree wanted us to get kicked out of Woolies i think while mum was trying to get some groceries by weighing you in the fruit and veggie scales.

We went to The Haven with Maya and Zacky. You LOVE Maya!!! Everytime you see her which is nearly everyday since they are your neighbours your face lights up big time! :-) She is so sweet so im ok with that!

Friday seemed to be the day we would wait desperately and watch for daddy to get home from work.

 <3

Brunch at the Haven with one of your man Spencey. Dad and Scott took you boys out and looked at the seaweed.

Your bed had to be lowered this month. I went in to check on you while you were meant to be sleeping and you were standing and could have easily fallen over. You had finally worked out how to pull yourself up and gave Mum a HEART ATTACK!!!!

Not very often do you let us hold you while you sleep so i took the afternoon off and just let you sleep in my arms and enjoyed the view :-)

You have started to hate the carseat since its still rearfacing. We tried to see if we could turn it but they told us you were not the right height yet. So everytime you got into the carseat you would turn around and make sure i was in the front seat and coming with you. Love these little eyes that are constantly watching that mummy is close by.

This is where i find you alot of the time now.

You ended up getting a cold and not feeling super awesome. Lots of snuggles were in order. When your not feeling good all you want is me to cuddle you and Im ok with that! Poor little man! Nothing worse than you not feeling good.

 Visited your Great Grandma again.

We had a few really hot days so we went and bought this fire hydrant sprinkler and took it over to play with Hayley.

 Oh you two
