Your Third Month.

Hey lil man.

Quickly a day old turned into 3 months old. Your little personality came out sooo much this month. You are still a super easy going baby boy. You love being held and cuddled. Sometimes you wriggle while we are holding you just to get closer to us. I do that to your dad alot too. I wriggle and say to him "I just cant get close enough". This month you outgrew your bath. You LOVE bath time but you were too big for the bath that there was even more water was outside of the bath than inside the bath with the way you kick and swim.  Dad gave you your first shower and you seemed to enjoy it. The second time you had a shower you screamed BIG TIME. So we tried you in the bath with dad and you did the same thing. After a day of leaving you I has a shower with you and you seemed to love it again. Its defiantely not as easy to shower with you and clean you the way it was in the bath but its fun to see your face when the water runs over your face. I was telling Nanna how slippery you are in the shower and she told me to put a singlet on you and then just take it off at the end. Now you have long showers and love them.

We went with Daddy and Aunty Mel to Ikea this month. I wanted to some things for you and your room when we went. It was a fun day. What day isnt fun when you go to Ikea. :-)  When we got home we met up with Boof, Nanna and the fam down at Ettalong for fish and chips for dinner. We used to go down to this spot when we were little with Boof and Nanna. I cant wait til you can run around on the beach with your cousin Hayley. :-)

You celebrated your first Australia Day this month. I bought you a little onesie. Brett and Judy came up to meet you and we had a family brunch. You also had your first swim in Boof and Nannas pool at Bensville. I love that you love water. Not surprising with your mum and dad both growing up around water and the coast. Here on the Central Coast and your dad in Florida. You got to meet some of Daddys old work mates he worked with at Playstation. They had a BBQ and we went so Daddy could show you off. They all loved you and thought you were "awesome"

We went to visit Boof at work this month. You had your little "bob the builder" shirt on. Boof will teach you lots of good things on how to work around the house when your older. You will need your tool belt and hammer. You fell asleep in my arms and they were laughing at the way your mouth drooped when you were out.

Your first big event in the city of Gosford happened one night. We had just put you to bed and went into our room. When we just hopped into bed we heard sirens and they sounded really loud and close to our house. Dad opened our blinds and all i could see was RED! I jumped out of bed and went to grab you while Zach looked to see where the fire was. We noticed out of your window that it was on the main street. It looked like the car yard but dad and Curt from next door walked down with everyone else in Gosford to see where and what was happening. It was so loud the crackling noise. It ended up being LazerTag. Tina, Curt, Emma and us stood outside out house and watched. You were snuggled in a big blanket in my arms as we laughed at every man and his dog came out to have a squiz.

The Superbowl is a big deal in America and since your Dad had to work and Uncle Dan works for the government and gets flex days we went and spent the day watching your first Superbowl with your Uncle. You were so interested :-P I think we just enjoyed the company and eating Uncle Dans Superbowl treats. He will be able to teach you all about American Football one day. Mum even learned a few things from the day. Its a LONG GAME because they stop and start all the time and Beyonce did an awesome half time performance. Yep we danced to her and Destinys Child. :-)

I was burping you one night this month and heard you sucking. I thought you were sucking on your hand since thats something you started recently. I went to feed you on the other side and you had been sucking on your arm and gave yourself a hickey!!!!! Your dad and I laughed so hard but could not believe you had a hickey on your arm!!!

We go down to the waterfront and have a subway picnic for dinner now as a family tradition on a Friday night at least once or twice a month depending on the weather.

More of your many funny faces this month
